Tech N9ne became famous in a very short amount of time. Tech N9ne is a rapper out of Kansas city. Weird right? Tech is actually a really good rapper too and is probably the most preferred choice for rappers in our high school. Tech N9ne is signed with Strange Records and represents them very well, Tech n9ne is also the founder of this record company. Tech mentions his record company in almost all of his songs. I think people li9ke Tech n9ne so much because his music speaks to people and his music is very real and not just about getting money and having sex.
Tech n9ne has 9 albums currently and in my opinion he hit it big in 2009 with Sickology 101. Tech's first album came out in 1999. Tech's song that made him popular was Caribou Lou which is about an alcoholic beverage.
Tech N9ne gives inspiration to Rappers in the Midwest and under dogs all around the world.

T Mills

T Mills is a American Rapper from Riverside, California. T Mills became famous by using software that anyone can buy at home. T Mills quickly became popular and appeared in the famous tour the Vans Warped Tour. T mills signed to Laguna Leach on the record Uprising Records. This lead to his release of 'Stuiped boy' which just recently became popular to the high schools in our town.
T Mills best song in my opinion also came from this record also, which is 'She Got A'. This song is one of my personal favorites for new music. The song just repeats the same words over and over, but for some reason it is very catchy.

Falling in Reverse

Last week I blogged about Escape the Fate and how one of their most important band members was kicked off and went to another band, well this is the band. Falling in Reverse is a post hardcore band from Nevada. Falling in Reverse's original name was From Behind These Walls, but do to another band having this name they changed to Falling in Reverse.Ronnie Rodka is the bands lead vocalist and also the former Escape The Fate member. Ronnie is pretty much a boss at what he does and all the lady's love him.


Falling in Reverse is not yet that popular. They formed in 2008 and hadn't had Ronnie, who gained much of their success until 2010. Almost every member of the band is from another Band.My favorite song by Falling in Reverse is 'The Drug in Me is You'.

Escape The Fate

Escape the fate is a fairly new band that formed in 2005, in Nevada. Ronnie Radke A member of this band started a lot of chaos while he was in the band and is still causing it now that he is out of the band. Ronnie killed a man over a dispute for Narcotics and was sentenced to prison. He was on probation and at first it was just he couldn't leave the country but then it led to he couldn't even leave the state, so they had to let him go. Ronnie later joined another band called Falling in Reverse, which is also one of my favorite bands. In this band Ronnie attacked Escape the Fate multiple times from lyrics in their songs. 
Escape the Fate has been pretty active this year with producing multiple songs and touring all around the world this year, But they did let go of a member on March 4, of this year. Max Green didn't say why he left the band, but I don't think it will hurt them much because they have a lot of people coming and going. I just hope they don't break up, because their newest album, Bullet for my Valentine, is one of their best and i'm a die hard fan.

50 Cent

This week I will be blogging about Curtis Jackson a.k.a 50cent. 50 cent had a rough child hood and he likes to rap about it often. Curtis's mom was shot when he was only eight and his dad ran out of on him when he was a child. 50 was born in Jamaica, but raised in NY with his grandparents. 50 cents mother gave birth to him at the age of 15 and was a major cocaine dealer.
 Life didn't get easier after that either as 50 quoted "When I wasn't killing time in school, I was sparring in the gym or selling crack on the strip". 50 was sent to a corrections boot camp after the metal detectors at his high school hit off on the guns that he carried, he then openly told his his grandparents that he was a drug deals. Rumor has it that 50 cent has been shot 9 times and once in the face, that's why 50 cent raps slower then most rap artists.

MGMT

MGMT is a American psychedelic rock band. MGMT first went by the name of Managment, but that name was already taken by another band so they shortened it to MGMT. MGMT is a popular band that had made a scene on the billbards only a few times, but is very well known. MGMt last number one was in May of 2010, with congradulations. Congraddulations to me is about the fame and money that they have acuired over the years of their music. Congradulations alot different from there other music. Fans say that Congradulations is MGMT attempt to get fans to veer from there songs that they became popular with and be more exposed to everything they can do.

Breathe Carolina

Breathe Carolina is a band from Denver Colorado. That consists of two members, David Schmitt and Kyle Even. They are considered an eletric rock dou. Breathe Carolina only has 3 albums and 5 music videos. Breathe Carolina was made from a dream that Schmitt had when he was only in 9th grade. They started from a for fun garge band that later had their own Myspace page. The first year the page was up it gained 10,000 music veiws and the second year it gained more then 30million. One of Breathe Caolinas first records had the song called "Don't forget: to lock the front door" which is my favorite song by this band.

Shwayze

Shwayze isn't really a band with a lot of members. Shwayze and Cisco Adler usually do their music solo and sometimes features bands in his music. Shwayze got his career in music from a random freestyle at a night club in California.
My favorite song from swayzee is called buzzin. Buzzin Is a great song that I can relate to. Another great song from Shwayze is called get you home.

Incubus

Incubus is a good rock band that has been around sense 1991. When the band was formed some of the members were even enrolled in high school. Incubus didn't really have instant fame, they always opened for bands like Korn and 311. They weren't a known band until 1997.

My favorite Incubus song by far is Warning. The song is about a successful girl who let life slip through her fingers, by not taking advantages of the opportunities given to her. In the song it says 'She woke in the morning, she know that life had passed her by'. The whole point of the song is the following lyrics that tell you to never let life ass you by.

Foster the People

Foster the People formed a band in 2009. Today Foster the people is a very popular band and has even been nominated for best newest new artist last year. The bands origin is Los Angeles, California. Their genre is Indie Rock.

Rise Against

Rise Against is one of my favorite bands. Rise Against is classified as more of a Rock/Alternative band. their newest album is perhaps my favorite. It features some good songs such as "Satellite", and "Make it stop". "Satellite" is having a game plan for life and having the balls to fulfill it, in my opinion.

"Hero of war" and "Swing life away" are this bands most popular songs. I guaranteed at some point in time in high school you have heard "Swing Life away". "Swing life away" is Rise Against most popular song and defiantly put them on the market, but if you explore more into this band they have a lot more good music.

All Time Low

All Time low is a great band to listen to because of their wide variety of music. Their newest popular song is called Time Bomb. I enjoy this song because it talks about his connection to someone when we were a kid and how it was like a "Time bomb destined to explode."

That is my favorite stanza to this song. My favorite song by All Time Low is remembering Sunday. It’s also one of this band’s oldest songs and most popular to in dept. listeners. The songs is about how hard broken a guy is and all he wants is his girl back. In the song it talks about how 'she doesn’t believe in love, but he is determined to call her bluff'. I think he is very devoted to this girl and all he wants is her back. Later on in the song he talks about how he is asking neighbors and dispersedly searching for her. At the end of the song the girl he has been looking for cuts in and says that she is at home in the clouds. The song ends and I leaves you to wonder if they girl he talks about marring is dead and he finally comes to realization.

I would classify All Time Low as an Alternative band.

Music

I am going to be blogging about the bands that I listen too. I chose this topic because I love to listen to music. I always have my iPod on me. I will be using 1^st person point of view to describe my music.
